Job summary

Heavy Diesel Mareeba, a family-owned business in Mareeba, is seeking a qualified diesel mechanic to diagnose faults, service and repair a wide fleet of trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. You’ll be hands-on, with a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction.

This permanent role offers a four-on, three-off schedule, with penalties, and an annual bonus potential, reflecting the busy, family-run operation in Queensland.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate required.
• Driver’s license required.
• Experience with trucks and trailers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing faults on customers vehicles.
• Servicing, repairs and maintenance for a variety of fleet vehicles.
• Road testing vehicles before they are returned to customers.

Heavy Diesel Mareeba is a family-owned & operated business specialising in the maintenance and repair of diesel vehicles and equipment including trucks and trailers, earthmoving and agricultural equipment, buses, 4×4’s, and much more! Our team performs a variety of services including general servicing and repairs, breakdowns, full fleet maintenance, HVRAS Measure Up Certificates, Modifications, Roadworthy Inspections & Certificates.

Tasks & responsibilities

Diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing faults on customers vehicles.

Servicing, repairs and maintenance for a variety of fleet vehicles.

Long weekend every weekend! 4 days on 3 days off. Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday

$55 per hour Permanent + Penalty Rates + Annual Bonus
