Job summary

Stellar Recruitment is seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Fitter for Mt Carlton Gold Mine, located 150km southeast of Charters Towers. Join a growing maintenance team focused on reliability and safe operations, with a strong on-site presence and long-term opportunities.

You will work across a mining mobile fleet performing scheduled servicing, diagnostics, component changes and repairs, while maintaining accurate maintenance records and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter with mining mobile plant exposure.
• Proven experience on mining mobile plant.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capability on heavy equipment.
• Commitment to safety and team culture.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on mining mobile fleet.
• Perform breakdown diagnostics and fault finding to fix faults quickly.
• Handle component change-outs and repairs (hydraulic, engine, transmission, driveline).
• Accurately complete maintenance reporting and records.

Mt Carlton Gold Mine, located 150kms south-east of Charters Towers— and our client is building a strong maintenance team to drive reliability on site. We're seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters with strong mobile plant exposure who take pride in quality workmanship, safe practices, and keeping gear turning.

You'll be working across a mining mobile fleet, carrying out:

• Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
• Breakdown diagnostics and fault finding
• Component change-outs and repairs
• Hydraulic, engine, transmission and driveline work
• Accurate completion of maintenance reporting

What You Bring
