Job summary

Myndshift Group is recruiting experienced Diesel Fitters for a mining project near Glenden, Queensland. Responsibilities include diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy truck fleets, with a focus on CAT, Hitachi and Liebherr equipment.

The role offers a labour-hire engagement with temp-to-perm opportunities, camp accommodation, and transport from Townsville or Mackay. 12.5-hour shifts on a 7:7 DS/NS roster with weekly pay are provided, along with superannuation and Coal LSL on

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised trade certification.
• Experience with heavy mobile equipment in mining or similar environments.
• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on CAT, Hitachi & Liebherr fleet.
• Complete servicing to OEM standards and site procedures.
• Support equipment availability and safe, reliable performance.
• Work with production and planning teams to schedule maintenance.
• Adhere to safety policies and contribute to a safety-first culture.

Myndshift Group have been engaged for a specific project to recruitDiesel Fitters for our client’s mining project close to the township of Glenden. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance on a large truck fleet as listed below.
Truck Fleet:

• Hitachi EH5000 & CAT 794 Electric Trucks
• CAT 785, 789, 793 Mechanical Trucks

About the Role:

• Labour Hire Engagement with Temp- Perm Opportunities
• 3-year contract extension
• Competitive hourly rate, with weekly pay cycle.
• Super & Coal LSL paid on all hours worked
• Even time 7:7 DS/NS roster (12.5 -hour shifts)
• Bus available from Townsville & Mackay
• Camp accommodation Supplied

Key Responsibilies:

• Support strong equipment availability and safe, reliable performance
• Speak-up and contribute to our culture; everyone home safe, every swing
• Work closely with production and planning teams to schedule work

About You:

• Australian-recognised trade
• Experience with Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) ideally in Surface Mining
• Ability to work as part of a team and step up when needed
• Current Drivers Licence
• Standard 11 Certificate (statement of attainment)
• Ability to provide a current Coal Board Medical
• Proof of Australian working rights
• National Police Check
