Job summary

Myndshift Group is recruiting a Diesel Fitter for a mining project near Glenden. You will perform diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on CAT, Hitachi and Liebherr fleet, with a 12.5-hour shift roster and site procedures to ensure safe, reliable performance.

The role offers Labour Hire engagement with temp-perm opportunities, a 3-year contract extension, weekly pay, camp accommodation, and bus from Townsville & Mackay. ASIC-compliant and site-specific training provided.

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised trade
• Experience with Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) ideally in Surface Mining
• Current Drivers Licence
• Standard 11 Certificate (statement of attainment)
• Ability to provide a current Coal Board Medical
• Proof of Australian working rights
• National Police Check

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on CAT, Hitachi & Liebherr fleet
• Complete servicing to OEM standards and site procedures
• Support strong equipment availability and safe, reliable performance
• Speak‑up and contribute to our culture; everyone home safe, every swing
• Work closely with production and planning teams to schedule work

Job description

Myndshift Group have been engaged for a specific project to recruit Diesel Fitters for our client’s mining project close to the township of Glenden. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance on a large truck fleet as listed below.

Truck Fleet:

• Hitachi EH5000 & CAT 794 Electric Trucks
• CAT 785, 789, 793 Mechanical Trucks

About the Role:

• Labour Hire Engagement with Temp- Perm Opportunities
• 3-year contract extension
• Competitive hourly rate, with weekly pay cycle.
• Super & Coal LSL paid on all hours worked
• Even time 7:7 DS/NS roster (12.5 -hour shifts)
