Job summary

Ferrovial, through its Webber operations in Australia, is seeking a skilled pipe layer to lay storm drainage and water mains on outdoor construction sites in New South Wales, Sydney region. You will install and align pipes, check joints, and ensure trench and grade accuracy while following safety policies.

Ideal candidates have construction experience and can perform heavy physical work outdoors, with the ability to read measurements and operate basic surveying tools.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install and use instruments such as lasers, grade rods, and transit levels.
• Install and repair sanitary and stormwater sewer structures and pipe systems.
• Connect pipe pieces and seal joints, using welding equipment, cement, or glue.
• Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers.
• Cut pipes to required lengths.
• Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing.
