About the Opportunity:
An opportunity exists for a highly experienced Water/Sewer Pipelayer/ Civil Plumber with a leading civil infrastructure contractor working on major projects across NSW area. This role is suited to a professional with a minimum of Three years’ experience in water & sewer infrastructure installation.
The successful applicant will contribute to the delivery of high-quality water and sewer infrastructure in accordance with Council specifications and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation of water, sewer, and stormwater pipelines in line with engineering drawings and Council standards
Interpretation of construction plans, specifications, and levels
Safe and effective use of pipe-laying tools and equipment, including laser levels and trench support systems
Coordination with supervisors and plant operators to ensure efficient workflow
Maintenance of site safety and compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ demonstrated experience in water/sewer pipe laying
Previously accredited/ training
Current White Card (Construction Induction)
Confined Space Entry and Excavation/Trenching tickets (highly regarded)
Thorough knowledge of Council standards and installation procedures
Proven ability to work independently and maintain high-quality workmanship
Current driver’s license and reliable transportation
