Job summary

Ferrovial, Webber, a Ferrovial company, seeks an experienced crawler/excavator operator for outdoor construction sites in NSW. You will operate heavy machinery, excavate ditches and mass excavations, and assist with pipe laying and rock placement, following safety protocols.

Applicants should have related construction experience, ability to work outdoors in varying weather, and demonstrate strong manual dexterity and teamwork in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Less than a High School Diploma and related construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate machines.
• Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate loading of dirt, rocks, and other materials.
• Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects.
• May oil, grease, or otherwise service the machine.
• Make necessary adjustment to equipment as needed.
