Job summary

Austonne in Sydney is seeking Civil Workers, Labourers, Pipelayers and FRP Workers to join our team delivering major electrical and utility infrastructure projects across Western Sydney and Central Coast. You will work with a crew on trenching and excavation for underground assets, install conduits and pits, and lay pipes for electrical infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has a current White Card, a valid driver’s license, reliable transport, and is physically fit for on-site work.

Qualifications

Current drivers license and own transport.
White Card.
Physically fit and ready for site work.
Ability to work well in a crew.
Civil construction experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

Trenching and excavation for underground electrical assets.
Installation of conduits, pits and underground services.
Pipelaying and duct installation for electrical infrastructure.
Assisting with FRP, concrete works and pit installations.
Backfilling, compaction and reinstatement works.
Operating and assisting with small plant and equipment.
Loading and unloading materials and equipment on site.
Using hand tools and construction equipment safely.
Conducting pre-start checks on tools and equipment.
Working closely with operators, supervisors and crew members to deliver works safely and efficiently.
Attending daily pre-starts, toolbox talks and site safety briefings.
