Job summary

Genea in Sydney CBD is seeking a Risk, Quality & Compliance Manager on a full-time basis to cover maternity leave. You will lead risk management, quality assurance and compliance activities nationally, reporting to the CEO, and champion a culture of continuous improvement.

You will oversee governance, policy development, incident management and regulatory interactions, ensuring accreditation and regulatory requirements are met while driving patient safety and quality across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as Head of Risk in a complex healthcare environment.
• Tertiary qualification relevant to risk and quality management in healthcare.
• Experience engaging regulators and senior executives.
• Knowledge of RTAC Code of Practice or NSQHS standards desirable.
• Experience developing risk management frameworks, audit planning and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical governance and coordinate Medical Advisory Committee and national risk, safety and quality meetings.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management and compliance framework for fertility business.
• Design reporting strategies to monitor performance against risk and compliance framework.
• Embed risk management principles into daily operations and decision-making.
• Advise executives on patient safety, risk management and quality systems.
• Review and implement policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory complaints and inquiries from government bodies.
• Maintain relationships with accreditation and regulatory bodies and ensure audit readiness.
