Job summary

The Leukaemia Foundation in Australia is seeking a healthcare quality professional to strengthen clinical governance, safety and service improvement across the Health Services team. You will support accreditation, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, drive quality metrics, and help embed a culture focused on safety and learning.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Nursing, Allied Health or another relevant health discipline.
• Experience supporting clinical governance, quality improvement, patient safety, accreditation or continuous improvement within a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of clinical governance principles, healthcare quality frameworks and accreditation standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive approach and commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical governance activities to support safe, high-quality care.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives that strengthen outcomes and service delivery.
• Support accreditation activities and ensure governance systems meet standards.
• Monitor clinical incidents, feedback and risks to identify trends and opportunities.
• Coordinate clinical audits and track improvement actions through to completion.
• Manage clinical policies, procedures and document control processes.
• Support clinical training, capability programs and compliance activities.
• Partner with clinical teams to embed a learning-focused culture of quality and safety.
