Join the Australian HR Awards Employer of Choice Finalist – 100–999 employees!

We are proud to be one of Australia's leading comprehensive haematology/oncology service providers, committed to exceptional patient care and survivorship. This role offers you the chance to be an integral part of our dynamic and dedicated Quality team.

Reporting to the Head of Quality & Clinical Governance, the Quality & Clinical Governance Coordinator supports the delivery of Cancer Care Associates’ quality, risk, and clinical governance frameworks. The role is responsible for compliance with regulatory standards, contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, and provides support to clinical and administrative teams to enhance patient safety, service quality, and organisational performance.

We are seeking a part-time team member with flexibility - both in location and hours - afforded to the right person. The role will likely be approximately 25 hours per week across 3-5 days, and hybrid arrangements are available with regular travel to our centres required.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of the organisation’s quality improvement framework.
  • Support clinical teams to implement evidence-based practices and achieve best-practice outcomes.
  • Assist in developing and coordinating education programs on quality, governance, and compliance.
  • Collate and analyse quality metrics, incident data, and audit findings to identify trends and inform improvement.
  • Contribute to the identification, assessment, and mitigation of clinical and organisational risks.

What we're looking for:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in healthcare, quality, or governance.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality systems, auditing, risk management, and accreditation processes (healthcare or aged care).
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance, risk, and infection prevention and control.
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • AHPRA registration
  • WHS experience and/or relevant certification.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools relevant to quality and compliance.

What We Offer:

  • 5 weeks annual leave pro-rata for all new starters prior to 1 January.
  • Access to professional development programs, supporting career growth - including town halls, monthly lunch & learn sessions, and all-company Conference.
  • Collaborate with friendly teams, focused on delivering top-quality care for patients and one another.
  • Growing list of initiatives - currently including Quarterly Recognition Awards and Employee Referral Bonuses.
  • 24/7 Access to Employee Assistance Program.

This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact in a business that is evolving and investing in its people. You'll gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle, work closely with senior leaders, and play a key role in shaping how we attract, engage and retain great people.

We are investing more into our people as evidenced by our growing staff satisfaction from our recent Employee Surveys (increase from 72% to 75% overall satisfaction in only 6 months).
