Job summary

Barwon Health is recruiting for an Environmental Services Operations Coordinator (Grade 3) at The McKellar Centre. You will lead and support our Floor Coordinators and Team Leaders to ensure cleaning, housekeeping and waste management meet the required aged care standards.

The role oversees daily staffing, rosters and operations, ensuring safe, compliant services across the facility in line with EBA requirements and budgeting constraints.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary healthcare cleaning practices.
• More than 2 years of management experience leading a large team.
• Strong rostering, productivity, and budgeting skills with financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily operational activities for clinical, project cleans and special activities.
• Allocate staff resources via Floor Coordinator in line with service, budget and EBA requirements.
• Engage with staff to ensure appropriate conduct and effective communication.
• Conduct timely conflict resolution and performance management in consultation with Workforce Partner.
• Update master rosters and support payroll submission per Barwon Health policies.
