Job summary

Sydney Education, part of the Sydney Local Health District under NSW Health, is seeking a Workforce Development Consultant to design and deliver education and development programs for staff across the health system.

You will lead learning initiatives, develop resources, and work with stakeholders to identify workforce development needs, ensuring learning translates into high-quality patient care and staff performance.

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Commitment to professional development of self and others including reflective practice and growth.
• Ability to produce high quality written documents including educational resources and evaluation reports.
• Experience in supervisory or senior roles with coaching, feedback and project involvement.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver innovative learning programs and develop high-quality education resources.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify workforce development needs and translate learning into practice.
• Deliver high quality education and training initiatives to SLHD staff to support patient and family centred care.
• Develop and deliver Education in the Professional Practice and Development portfolio and support the Sydney Education Strategic Plan.
• Engage with stakeholders, manage education projects, and drive evaluation and continuous improvement.
