Job summary

Sydney Local Health District (NSW Health) is seeking a Medical Workforce Governance Officer at Health Manager Level 1 to manage workflows and provide comprehensive administrative support to the Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee and subcommittees.

You will work with a broad range of stakeholders, ensuring timely interpretation and advice on procedures while prioritising activities with staff and patient care in mind.

Qualifications

• High level verbal and written communication with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret and advise on required procedures for medical workforce governance.
• Attention to detail with strong organisational and task management skills; able to work independently and in teams.
• Current driver's licence (P1/P2) and willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage workflows and provide administrative support to the SLHD Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee and subcommittees.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and provide interpretation/advice on procedures.
• Prioritise activities to meet staff and patient care needs in a high-volume environment.
• Deliver timely, customer-focused and resource-efficient support services.
