Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager Partnering to lead a dedicated HSW Partnering team across portfolios. The role focuses on implementing the Health and Safety Management System and advancing enterprise-wide HSW outcomes aligned with university priorities.

You will drive capability development, manage workforce planning, and partner with key stakeholders to embed best practices in health, safety and wellbeing across the campus.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in a field appropriate to portfolio or equivalent experience.
• ICAM Lead Investigator or equivalent.
• Experience leading high-performing teams and driving capability uplift.
• Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSW Partnering Service Delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement and health & safety performance.
• Provide strategic HSW leadership and advice to portfolios.
• Ensure effective implementation of the Health and Safety Management System.
• Oversee daily delivery of HSW Partnering Services with agile, outcomes-focused delivery.
• Build capability, culture and deliver strategic initiatives.
