Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking an HSW Manager Partnering STEMM to provide operational leadership for health and safety partnering services across multiple portfolios. This full-time, continuing role at the Camperdown Campus drives the Health and Safety Management System and strengthens culture, compliance and performance.

You will lead a HSW Partnering team, manage workforce planning, capability development, and deliver high‑impact safety outcomes aligned with university priorities.

Qualifications

Must have tertiary qualification and proven WH&S program design experience.
Experience leading and developing high-performing teams and engaging senior stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of WH&S legislation and Codes of Practice.

Responsibilities

Lead HSW Partnering Service Delivery across portfolios.
Drive continuous improvement and safety performance.
Provide strategic HSW leadership and advice.
Ensure effective implementation of the Health and Safety Management System.
Oversee daily delivery of HSW Partnering Services with agile, outcomes‑driven delivery.
Build capability and culture, delivering strategic initiatives.
