Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre (MUSAC) is seeking a Health & Fitness Instructor to deliver high-quality group training, gym inductions and member support at our Macquarie Park campus. The role involves maintaining gym etiquette, performing cleaning duties, and providing timely member assistance.

The successful candidate will hold a Certificate IV in Fitness (or equivalent), have experience in high-level exercise prescription, and hold required registrations such as First Aid/ CPR

Qualificações

• Certificate IV in Fitness or recognised tertiary education equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience as a Fitness Instructor with high-level exercise prescription and small group training.
• Exercise Professional Registration (desirable).
• Working with Children Check, First Aid & CPR current.
• Right to work in Australia.

Responsabilidades

• Drive engagement by using member retention tools and providing exceptional customer service.
• Deliver premium group training sessions, gym inductions, provide members with advice, and enforce gym etiquette.
• Perform cleaning duties, report maintenance issues, and complete administration tasks via CRM software.
• Assist with member enquiries and escalating complaints where necessary.
• Available for opening, closing, and weekend shifts.

LONG DESCRIPTION The Role The Health & Fitness Instructor role requires you to be customer focused at all times and use your industry expertise and training to provide exceptional service to our members in a professional and timely manner. Duties

• Drive engagement by using member retention tools and providing exceptional customer service.
• Deliver premium group training sessions, gym inductions, provide members with advice, and enforce gym etiquette.
• Perform cleaning duties as required, report maintenance issues, and complete administration tasks via CRM software.
• Assist with member enquiries and escalating complaints where necessary.
• Available for opening, closing, and weekend shifts.

Skills & experience Certificate IV in Fitness or recognised tertiary education equivalent. Demonstrated experience as a Fitness Instructor with a proven ability for high-level exercise prescription and small group training. Additional accreditation in specialised programming/training desirable but not essential. Exercise Professional Registration. This role requires a Working with Children Check, current First Aid & CPR. Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
