Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre (MUSAC) is hiring an Internal and External Health & Fitness Instructor. The role concentrates on delivering high-quality fitness services, group training, gym inductions, and member guidance at our North Ryde campus.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Fitness or recognised tertiary education equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience as a Fitness Instructor with a proven ability for high-level exercise prescription and small group training.
• Additional accreditation in specialised programming/training desirable but not essential.
• Exercise Professional Registration.

Responsibilities

• Drive engagement by using member retention tools and providing exceptional customer service.
• Deliver premium group training sessions, gym inductions, provide members with advice, and enforce gym etiquette.
• Perform cleaning duties as required, report maintenance issues, and complete administration tasks via CRM software.
• Assist with member enquiries and elevate complaints where necessary.
• Available for opening, closing, and weekend shifts.

LONG DESCRIPTION

The Role

The Health & Fitness Instructor role requires you to be customer focused at all times and use your industry expertise and training to provide exceptional service to our members in a professional and timely manner.

Duties

• Drive engagement by using member retention tools and providing exceptional customer service.
• Deliver premium group training sessions, gym inductions, provide members with advice, and enforce gym etiquette.

This role requires a Working with Children Check, current First Aid & CPR. Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
