Upwey High School is seeking an experienced classroom teacher to deliver quality programs, plan and assess learning, and engage with students, families and the school community. The role emphasizes literacy/numeracy integration, high-impact pedagogy and continuous professional growth.

The successful applicant will contribute to school priorities, mentor junior staff, and participate in a range of non-teaching duties as required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high impact teaching aligned to how students learn.
• Experience using data to inform teaching and provide feedback.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, families and colleagues.
• Commitment to professional learning and reflective practice.
