Job summary

Pymble Ladies’ College seeks an inspiring and experienced educator to lead the Visual Arts Department. This permanent, full-time role reports to the Deputy Principal, Academic (K-12) and focuses on strategic direction, curriculum design, classroom pedagogy, assessment and reporting to raise student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current NESA accreditation and deep understanding of the Visual Arts syllabus across Stages 4–6.
• Proven ability to lead teaching, learning, innovation and change.
• Ability to coach and develop staff and build a shared vision.
• Commitment to holistic curriculum and personalised learning in Visual Arts.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum design, pedagogy, assessment and reporting for Visual Arts.
• Oversee operations of the Visual Arts faculty and staffing.
• Collaborate with Deputy Principal and curriculum leaders to drive student outcomes.
