Job summary

St Vincent’s College in Potts Point, NSW, is seeking a full-time Visual Arts teacher for Years 7–12. The successful applicant will bring enthusiasm for teaching, a commitment to girls’ education, and the ability to work within a collaborative Visual Arts/TAS department.

The role emphasises innovative pedagogy, evidence-informed practice, and strong communication to support student growth across diverse abilities. A Working with Children Check is required and experience with Stage 6 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualifications for and/or experience as a classroom Visual Arts teacher.
• Ability to teach Stage 6 Visual Arts, and preferably one other subject.
• Ability to teach Photographic, film and digital media.
• Willingness to teach Stage 4 Technology if required.
• Commitment to engaging learning experiences for diverse students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging learning experiences catering to diverse student needs.
• Promote growth and achievement by modelling a passion for learning.
• Collaborative teaching within the combined Visual Arts/TAS department.
• Conduct assessment to understand student growth and provide feedback.
