Job summary

ProFound People Pty Ltd in Perth, WA is seeking a Head of Product & Innovation to lead end-to-end product strategy across an Australia-wide business. You will build and own the global product roadmap, bring new products to market, and continuously improve the portfolio while partnering with customers on innovation.

Build the global product roadmap, bring new products to market, improve the existing portfolio, partner with customers on innovation, and build out the product & R&D function.

Must-Haves

• Proven product management / product leadership experience (not pure engineering).
• Must have owned roadmaps, prioritisation, stage-gate processes, and commercial outcomes.
• Experience with industrial / physical products (mechanical preferred, some electrical useful).
• B2B or industrial environment essential. Mining/resources is a plus but not mandatory.
• Track record of bringing new products to market and optimising existing portfolios (NPD
• Strong commercial mindset: translates technical features into clear customer value and revenue impact.

Strongly Preferred

• Experience managing or building small R&D / product teams.
• Exposure to intellectual property (patents, trademarks, IP register) valuable but secondary to commercial product experience.
• Customer-facing innovation work (Voice of Customer, lead customer partnerships).
• Experience with outsourced manufacturing / supplier collaboration on product design.
