Job summary

Foundry Talent Partners is seeking a Head of Operations in Sydney to lead firm operations, governance and reporting. You will partner with the CFO and Partners to translate priorities into actionable plans, manage risk, and ensure compliance across the business.

You’ll own the employee lifecycle, contracts, cyber security, vendor management, and the company’s events and communications. A hands-on leader in a small team with visible impact.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in operations or similar roles within startups, scale-ups or growth-stage businesses.
• Experience with governance, regulatory obligations and working with external legal counsel.
• Strong people management, compliance and policy development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead core firm operations, including policy development, audits and reporting to partners and CFO.
• Oversee contracts, governance, risk reviews and external legal counsel coordination.
• Manage technology, cyber security, SaaS subscriptions and internal AI usage.
• Own employee lifecycle, recruitment, onboarding, performance, development and payroll liaison.
• Plan events and manage budgets, plus support external communications and portfolio services.
