Optus is seeking an experienced leader to head Observability Engineering, driving strategy, standards and end-to-end telemetry across network, platforms and services. You will shape data-driven insights, enable AI-driven operations and elevate service resilience through robust telemetry practices.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive leadership across telecommunications, Network Operations, observability, OSS or large-scale tech environments.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale observability, monitoring and telemetry engineering initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of metrics, logs, events and traces and telemetry pipelines.
• Ability to define capability strategy, engineering standards and roadmaps.

• Own and drive observability strategy, roadmap and maturity across domains.
• Lead engineering of telemetry capabilities (metrics, logs, events, traces).
• Enable service-aware observability across network, OSS, cloud and platforms.
