Job summary

The Department of Education Victoria is seeking a Manager for the Teaching and Leadership Excellence Division to lead strategic design and delivery of the Middle Leadership professional learning programs. You will manage a high-performing team and coordinate across life cycle stages from inception to evaluation.

You will provide guidance on program direction, governance, and delivery models, while overseeing procurement, partnerships and performance monitoring to ensure system-wide impact.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in end-to-end management of professional learning programs or training.
• Advanced project and program management capability.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Strategic thinking and ability to translate strategy into actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic design and continuous improvement of the Middle Leadership unit.
• Manage and develop a high-performing team delivering learning programs across the lifecycle.
• Provide strategic advice on program direction, processes, tools and delivery models to stakeholders.
• Oversee procurement, contracts and external partnerships.
• Build partnerships to drive system-wide impact and innovation.
• Monitor program performance, risks and outcomes to align with strategy.
