Job summary

Sonder is seeking a Head of Marketing for a 12-month fixed-term contract to lead the marketing function and a team of seven. The role covers the full marketing lifecycle, from demand generation to adoption and engagement, plus product marketing, brand leadership, and AI integration across workflows.

You will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and drive measurable commercial results with a hands-on, executive-facing leadership style.

Qualifications

About the role
We’re looking for a Head of Marketing to lead Sonder’s marketing function on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering parental leave. Reporting to our Chief Revenue Officer and leading a team of 7, you’ll deliver the annual marketing plan across the full lifecycle, from building demand with the organisations we sell to through to customer adoption and member engagement. You’ll also own product marketing, brand and category leadership, and keep embedding AI across how the team works.

Must-haves

• 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, including at least 5 years leading a team


• A proven track record of delivering measurable commercial results, including demand and pipeline


• Experience in SaaS and/or health-tech


• Full lifecycle and product marketing experience, from acquisition and go-to-market through to retention and engagement


• Confident owning a marketing budget, managing agencies and suppliers, and showing the return on every investment


• Hands-on experience embedding AI into marketing workflows


• A clear, direct communicator who can report to and influence an Executive Leadership Team


• A hands-on leader who gets up to speed quickly and leads with confidence from day one

Nice-to-haves

• Experience marketing across multiple markets, including the UK


• A valid driver’s licence
