Job summary

Sonder is seeking a Customer Marketing Manager on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract across the full customer lifecycle. You will develop programs to launch Sonder, keep customers engaged, renew and grow, and turn satisfied customers into advocates with case studies and stories.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll partner with Customer, Sales, Member, Product and RevOps teams to drive adoption and value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in marketing including 2+ years in customer lifecycle or retention marketing.
• Experience running automated, multi-channel campaigns end to end.
• Hands-on HubSpot experience.
• Strong written storytelling of customer outcomes.
• Customer-first with adoption, retention, growth focus.
• Organised and data-driven; manage multiple programs.
• Practical use of AI in content, personalisation and reporting.
• Bachelor’s or equivalent in marketing/communications/business.

Responsibilities

About the role

We’re looking for a Customer Marketing Manager to own marketing across the full customer lifecycle on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering parental leave.

You’ll build the programs and campaigns that help customers launch Sonder successfully, stay engaged, renew and grow, and you’ll turn happy customers into advocates through case studies, references and stories. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll work closely with our Customer, Sales, Member, Product and RevOps teams.

Must-haves

• 5+ years in marketing, including at least 2 years in customer, lifecycle or retention marketing
• Experience running automated, multi-channel campaigns end to end
• Hands‑on HubSpot experience
• A clear, engaging writer who can turn customer outcomes into stories that land
• Customer-first and commercially minded, focused on adoption, retention and growth
• Organised and data-driven, able to run several programs at once and report clearly on what’s working
• Practical with AI, using it day to day across content, personalisation and reporting
• A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business or a related field, or equivalent experience

Nice‑to-haves

• Experience in SaaS, health‑tech or B2B2C businesses
• A valid driver’s licence
