Job summary

Sonder is seeking a Product Manager/Senior Product Manager to own the roadmap for our member app, driving it from episodic support to continuous care with AI-powered guidance and new add-ons for employer customers.

You will work in a small, passionate team, partnering with engineering, sales, customer success and marketing to deliver outcomes that improve member safety, health and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Track record owning a consumer-facing mobile product and driving outcomes.
• Experience defining a product roadmap aligned to business goals.
• Ability to justify priorities to engineers, customers, clinicians, and leadership in one day.
• Experience with co-design, customer relationships and end-user research.
• Experience leading end-to-end initiatives across engineering, sales, customer success and marketing.
• Practical fluency with AI in prototyping, PRDs and research.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for the Sonder member app and move it from episodic support to continuous, connected care.
• Define care plans and AI-powered guidance as new product add-ons for employer customers.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sales, customer success and marketing.
• Balance priorities and trade-offs with stakeholders while maintaining user trust.

About The Role

You’ll own the roadmap for the Sonder member app, where more than a million of our members go for safety, medical and mental health support.

Working in a small but passionate team, you’ll move the app from episodic support to continuous, connected care. That means care plans, guidance powered by AI, and new product add-ons our employer customers choose to buy. We are open to both an experienced product manager looking for their next step up or a Senior Product Manager, the level offered depends on the scope you’ve already carried.

Must-haves

• A track record of owning a consumer-facing mobile product and moving outcomes, not just shipping features
• Experience defining and owning a product roadmap, and setting objectives that link it to business goals
• Sound judgement on product priorities and the ability to explain a trade-off to engineers, customers, clinical and non- clinical stakeholders and leadership in the same day
• Confidence with customers, co-designing with our clients - building trusted relationships and running user research with end users
• Experience owning initiatives end to end across your allocated engineering team, through to go to market with sales, customer success and marketing
• Practical fluency with AI, both in your own workflow (prototyping, PRDs, research) and in putting it in front of users with trust in mind
• Care for the people the product serves, and motivation to make a real difference to members’ lives

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience working in the health tech or health care product space or a deep passion for it
