Job summary

City of Parramatta is seeking a Group Manager Infrastructure Services to lead the operational heart of Council. You will oversee roads, drainage, parks, facilities, fleet and depot operations, guiding a multidisciplinary team of professionals and reporting to the Executive Director City Services and Projects.

You will hold whole-of-life accountability for fleet and plant assets, drive strategic direction, and manage a substantial budget while engaging with Councillors and executives to maintain

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field with leadership experience.
• Local government or public sector leadership experience preferred.
• Experience directing multidisciplinary teams and large budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of roads, drainage, parks, facilities, fleet and depot operations.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals (~140 staff).
• Be responsible for fleet and plant assets lifecycle, strategy and budget oversight.
• Serve as Local Emergency Management Officer (LEMO) and engage with executives and Councillors.
