You will shape design outcomes, prepare business cases and delivery plans, and present to Council. This role requires senior leadership, strategic planning and a proven ability to deliver complex projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in landscape architecture or architecture, project management, or comparable experience.
• Extensive experience managing a complex portfolio of projects in a political environment.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to develop long-term programs and comprehensive delivery plans.
• Proven design management and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team responsible for capital projects from development to construction.
• Provide strategic design advice on scope, delivery and approvals of projects.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders in a highly political environment.
• Prepare business cases, delivery plans and council reports for approvals.
• Report progress to senior management and drive continuous improvement.
