St Michael's Grammar School in Saint Kilda VIC invites an experienced educator to become Head of House for Years 7–12. This pivotal leadership role shapes academic, social and emotional growth, guiding a House community and a team of House Tutors to ensure every student is known, valued and supported.

Working with a co-Head of House and a wellbeing and educational leadership team, you will drive student wellbeing initiatives, mentor leaders, and contribute to a culture of inclusion, belonging

Qualifications

• Aligned with the School's ethos, vision and values.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and staff management skills.
• Experience with wellbeing and pastoral care practices.
• Understand developmental and learning needs across year levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and nurture a connected House culture with 0.40 time allowance.
• Build authentic relationships with students, families and staff.
• Lead, mentor and develop House Tutors.
• Support academic, social and emotional development through pastoral leadership.
• Collaborate with wellbeing, learning support and educational leaders.
• Use data and professional judgement to identify trends and coordinate interventions.
• Mentor student leaders and empower positive contribution.
• Contribute to wellbeing programs across the School.
