BHP is seeking a Manager Environment, Approvals & Sustainability for Copper SA in Adelaide. The role leads environmental management, sustainability, and approvals for current and future operations, coordinating cross-functional teams and engaging with regulators, communities, and government bodies to ensure licence-to-operate and responsible growth.

• Experience leading environmental management and sustainability programs.
• Negotiation with government on environmental conditions and compliance.
• Strong leadership across multidisciplinary teams with change management.
• Proven ability to manage complex regulatory and stakeholder relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team responsible for environmental management, sustainability, approvals and related activities.
• Lead the execution of approvals for existing and future operations across SA and Federal jurisdictions.
• Maintain engagement with State and Federal environmental authorities to support Copper SA's growth.
• Monitor regulatory landscape and advise on policy and regulatory changes.
• Coordinate technical environmental studies to support major approvals.
• Influence decisions and collaborate with stakeholders and communities.
