Job summary

Padua College on the Mornington Peninsula seeks a strategic Head of Applied Learning Pathways to lead the design and delivery of high‑quality pathway programs, including Hands on Learning, VCE VM, and VPC. You will oversee subject selection, VET, and Structured Workplace Learning while aligning with the College’s Learning and Teaching Framework and external authorities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading senior secondary or pathway programs.
• Strong knowledge of VCE VM, VPC and Applied Learning programs.
• Experience building industry and training provider partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, delivery, and evaluation of Applied Learning programs.
• Oversee student pathways, VET, Structured Workplace Learning and post-school transitions.
• Ensure programs meet external standards (VCAA, VRQA) and align with strategic plans.
• Coach staff and build capacity for high-quality teaching across Applied Learning.
• Develop partnerships with industry, training providers, and community organisations.
• Oversee administration and compliance of programs (enrolments, VASS, QA).
• Manage resources, budgeting, and external assessment preparation.
