Job summary

Padua College on the Mornington Peninsula invites applications for the Head of Applied Learning Pathways (POL 4). This 3-year leadership position includes an ongoing teaching appointment and leads the strategic delivery of applied learning programs such as Hands on Learning, VCE VM, and VPC.

The role focuses on student pathways, compliant program delivery, and strong industry partnerships, reporting to the Leadership team and aligning with the College’s framework and strategic plan.

Qualifications

• Leadership in school settings and senior leadership experience desired.
• Strong collaboration with executive teams and teaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and evaluation of Applied Learning programs (Hands on Learning, VCE VM, VPC, and others).
• Oversee student pathways including VET and Structured Workplace Learning and post-school transitions.
• Drive high-quality teaching and learning using data-informed improvement and ATSIL standards.
• Build staff capacity through coaching and professional learning.
• Develop partnerships with industry, training providers and community organisations.
• Oversee administration, enrolment, quality assurance and compliance across programs.
• Manage resources, budgeting and program coordination for Applied Learning.
