Job summary

Padua College on the Mornington Peninsula is seeking a Director of Educational Initiatives - POL 4 for a 3-year appointed leadership role with an ongoing teaching appointment. The Director leads development, implementation and evaluation of school-wide educational initiatives and aligns them with the College’s strategic plans and instructional model.

The role drives curriculum excellence, professional learning, and evidence-based practice across multiple campuses, reporting to the Vice Principal

Qualifications

• TEACHING registration required for teaching appointments (VIT).
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking with curriculum focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigation, design, implementation and evaluation of strategic educational initiatives.
• Oversee curriculum, pedagogy and program improvement across the College.
• Use evidence and data to guide decisions and continuous improvement.
• Lead professional learning and build capacity of teachers and leaders.
• Coordinate partnerships and resources for sustainable educational priorities.
• Run annual review meetings and professional goal setting with staff.
• Collaborate with College executives and leaders to implement priorities across campuses.
