Merivale is a family-owned hospitality group with a portfolio of more than 90 venues across Australia. We are recruiting Junior Sous Chefs, Sous Chefs, Senior Sous Chefs and Head Chefs who bring strong cooking skills and a genuine interest in developing people around them.

Qualifications

• Experience in a quality restaurant or high-volume kitchen.
• Ability to lead service and maintain standards under pressure.
• Exceptional cooking skills with focus on flavour and presentation.
• Experience coaching chefs and building supportive teams.
• Clear communication with chefs, managers and front-of-house.
• Ownership of kitchen organisation, food safety and daily operations.
• Adaptable and motivated to grow with Merivale.

Responsibilities

• Lead a section or daily kitchen operations depending on the role.
• Work with chefs to maintain standards across prep, service and presentation.
• Help your team grow and perform at its best.
