Job summary

Fiveight Venues Pty Ltd’s Cooee in Perth seeks an experienced and ambitious Head Chef to lead the kitchen, inspire the team and evolve our modern Australian menu. This hands-on role blends creativity with leadership, underpinned by a commitment to Western Australian produce and exceptional service.

You will shape menu direction, manage costs and inventory, recruit and develop staff, and uphold food safety and WHS standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in premium dining or hospitality environments.
• Must hold Level 1 Food Safety Certification.
• Willing to obtain Food Safety Supervisor Certificate when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen operations and service delivery
• Design and execute seasonal menus featuring WA produce
• Recruit and develop a high-performing team
• Uphold food quality, presentation and consistency
• Manage costs, labour, ordering and inventory
