Archer Hotel in Nowra is seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen, delivering pub classics with a modern touch for the local community. This hands-on role requires solid trade qualifications, strong leadership, and a track record of growing a high-performing kitchen team while keeping safety and service at the core.

You will work with FOH to ensure seamless service and a welcoming atmosphere for families and fans alike.

Qualifications

• Trade cooking qualifications and food safety certifications are required.
• Experience leading a kitchen and developing a high-performing team.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving stock.

Responsibilities

• Command the kitchen to run safely, efficiently, and profitably.
• Lead the kitchen leadership group, collaborating with Publican and FOH team.
• Mentor and grow a high-performing kitchen team.
• Maintain strong kitchen-FOH communication and positive service each shift.
