Job summary

The Archer Hotel in Nowra, part of ALH Hotels, is seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen, delivering pub classics with modern flair for the local community.

This hands-on role requires strong kitchen leadership, trade cooking qualifications, and food safety certification, with daily operations, team development, and close collaboration with the Publican and FOH. Salary starts from AUD 85,000 plus superannuation and bonuses, with benefits across the Endeavour Group network.

Job description

We’re searching for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at the Archer Hotel- the beating heart of our local community and the place where pub classics meet plates locals can’t get enough of.

Two hours from Sydney's CBD sits The Archer Hotel in the heart of Nowra, and is a local favourite for surrounding suburbs.

We believe in quality food and quality service; it's at the core of what we do and how we operate. Our guests can expect friendly country hospitality with a community feel. We're the perfect place for families to meet for an overdue long lunch, for mates to catch up for a beer and to watch the game, to celebrate a milestone birthday or special event — everything a local should be and more.

Salary: From $85,000 + superannuation + bonus

Inherent requirements:

This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

• You’ve got trade cooking qualifications and food safety certifications sorted
