Ayers Rock Resort, at Uluru, seeks an experienced Head Chef to lead the Desert Gardens Hotel kitchen and its 20-chef brigade. You will oversee daily food production, drive quality, and manage guest-facing dining with a hands-on leadership style.

Expect to work onsite in a stunning remote location, blending traditional Indigenous ingredients with modern techniques while mentoring a diverse team. Competitive pay and relocation support are offered.

Qualifications

• Five years as a Hotel Head Chef with a Chef Certificate IV in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a 5-star hotel.
• Customer & Supplier relationship skills.
• Financial skills including budget management.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Can manage conflicting priorities and lead by example.
• Work collaboratively within a cross-cultural and complex environment.
• Knowledge of native Australian ingredients and hands-on cooking approach.
