Job summary

Maxibor Australia Pty Limited – Jacobs Well QLD, a leading HDD contractor, is seeking crew members for a project based in the Gold Coast and Brisbane area. We operate a large fleet of HDD rigs and supporting equipment and deliver design and construction services across water, gas, power, rail and telecommunications.

For the right candidates who show performance, reliability and safety commitment, there will be opportunities to continue employment on projects Australia-wide.

Qualifications

• White Card holder required to work on construction sites.
• HR Truck Licence essential for vehicle operations.
• Experience drilling and excavating around live services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow OH&S procedures and site safety rules.
• Locate underground utility services.
• Operate NDD equipment and support drilling operations.
• Set up sites and reinstate areas after work.
• Drive HR vehicles and operate plant and machinery.
• Perform general civil construction tasks.
• Complete required project documentation.
• Support tracking and drilling operations.

We provide HDD design and construction services nationwide across the water, gas, power, rail and telecommunications sectors.

We are currently seeking Crew members for a project based in the Gold Coast and Brisbane area.

Key Responsibilities

Duties may include:

• Following and implementing OH&S procedures
• Locating underground utility services
• Operating NDD (non-destructive digging) equipment
• Site setup and reinstatement
• Driving HR vehicles and operating plant and machinery
• General civil construction activities
• Completing required project documentation
• Tracking and drilling operations support

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

• White Card
• HR Truck Licence
• Experience drilling and excavating around live services

Highly Regarded (but not essential):

• Excavator ticket
• Experience operating HDD rigs
• Experience with pit and pipe installation
• Broader civil construction experience
