Deepcore Drilling is seeking Local Driller Assistants for our Cadia Mine project. If you’re physically fit, reliable and safety-focused, this hands-on opportunity lets you start a mining career with excellent pay, job security and career progression.

No industry experience is required—training, qualifications and career pathways will be provided to set you up for success. We operate modern drill rigs with a strong safety culture and supportive crews across Australia’s East Coast.

Qualifications

• Physically fit to perform demanding on-site tasks.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and in a safety-focused environment.
• Willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR and police clearance.
• Hold a valid C-Class manual driver’s licence and Australian working rights.

What We’re Looking For

• Physically fit able to lift up to 35kgs
• Able to handle 12-hour shifts
• Strong focus on safety and teamwork
• Able to pass a full pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screening
• Current manual driver’s licence (C-Class) as a minimum
• First Aid/CPR certificate (or willing to obtain)
• National Police Check & full Australian working rights

Experience in labouring, construction, FIFO/DIDO, or mining is highly regarded – but not essential.
