Job summary

SRG Hospitality—Sails Lavender Bay is seeking a Waiter/Drinks Waiter to join a friendly, motivated team. The venue overlooks the harbour with stunning city views and offers a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities include table settings, taking reservations, recommending dishes and wines, relaying orders, serving, and handling payments. Candidates should hold a Certificate III in Hospitality or have 18–24 months of experience, be reliable and presentable, and

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Hospitality and/or 18–24 months experience.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
• High standard of personal presentation and hygiene.
• Team player with positive attitude and passion for cooking.
• Understanding of HACCP & Food Safety Regulations.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Setting and arranging tables.
• Taking reservations, greeting customers and taking orders.
• Recommending dishes and wines to complement food.
• Taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff.
• Serving food and beverages.
• Collecting payments and operating POS systems.
