EVT Limited on the Gold Coast is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to perform general repairs across hotel properties, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks. You’ll conduct inspections, respond to urgent issues, and help maintain guest-ready, safe environments.

The role requires practical maintenance skills, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative, calm approach under pressure. On-site work with Daymaker culture and opportunities across EVT hotels and venues.

Formación

• Experience in general maintenance, ideally in hospitality.
• Skills across plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general repairs.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Reliable, hands-on approach with good communication and teamwork.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

• Carry out general repairs across the hotel, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and equipment fixes.
• Complete room and property inspections and action maintenance issues quickly.
• Respond to urgent callouts and resolve problems such as leaks, electrical faults, and HVAC issues.
• Maintain safety standards, report hazards, and support routine safety checks.
• Keep tools and supplies organised and ensure stock is replenished.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and well presented property for guests and staff

This is a Full-Time,permanent position.
