Job summary

O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat in Lamington National Park, QLD, seeks a practical handyman/maintenance person for a permanent, on-site role within a small, friendly team.

You’ll perform repairs, preventative maintenance, support grounds and other departments, with on-call shifts and staff accommodation provided.

Experience in hospitality is a plus; drivers license required; enjoys nature and a hands-on approach.

An iconic eco-tourism retreat, O'Reilly's has been delighting guests for the past 99 years! As we head into our Centenary celebrations in 2026, we are looking for resourceful and capable handy persons to join our small and dynamic maintenance team on a permanent basis.

Our maintenance team play a vital role in maintaining the comfort, safety and charm of our accommodation and facilities nestled in the lush rainforest of Lamington National Park. From general repairs and preventative maintenance to supporting the grounds and assisting other departments, no two days will be the same in this hands-on and rewarding role. We are a tight-knit team that works closely together to find creative solutions to this unique property.

Experience in hospitality would be an advantage. This on-site role requires on-call shifts.
