Tuga Pastries Australia, a family-owned Sydney staple famous for Portuguese tarts and artisan baked goods, invites you to join a fast-paced pastry production team. This full-time/casual role offers hands-on learning and growth within a craft-focused kitchen.

Locations include Marrickville, Alexandria, Clovelly and the CBD, with shifts across day, afternoon, overnight and weekends. Competitive remuneration applies.

Qualifications

• Prior food experience in a commercial kitchen, bakery, or pastry shop.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for baking.
• High energy, reliability, punctuality, and a team-first attitude.
• Flexibility to work rostered shifts in a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

• The Prep: weigh, measure and mix ingredients for doughs, fillings, and sauces.
• The Craft: shape, proof, bake, decorate and pack sweet and savoury ranges.
• The Growth: receive hands-on training across multiple kitchen stations.
• The Standard: perform quality checks and HACCP hygiene protocols.
