Job summary

Porta Products in Oberon, NSW invites applications for a Maintenance Manager to lead our 24/7 manufacturing site. This hands-on role will drive maintenance operations, optimise plant efficiency and reduce downtime through strong leadership and teamwork.

You will manage a maintenance team, collaborate across production and engineering, and implement continuous improvements to protect output and safety. A tertiary engineering qualification is preferred; experience in a complex manufacturing

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience leading a maintenance team.
Experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
Ability to develop solutions for repetitive failures that adversely affect plant operations.
Excellent written, verbal communication and coaching skills.
The ability to build strong relationships across different departments within the company.
Previous MDF or Manufacturing experience would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Lead the maintenance team to maximise plant efficiency and minimise downtime.
Drive continuous improvement in performance and processes across departments.
Oversee maintenance operations for a 24/7 manufacturing facility and ensure support for production.
Collaborate with production and engineering to ensure smooth operations.
