Oscars Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Facilities Manager for The Brighton Hotel - MGallery Collection in Brighton-Le-Sands, NSW. The role is hands-on and not office-based, focusing on safe, efficient operation and presentation of the hotel facilities.

You will work closely with the Facilities Manager, inspect regularly, troubleshoot issues, supervise maintenance staff and coordinate contractors to uphold premium guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in facilities management, hotel maintenance or similar operational environment.
• Strong hands-on approach with willingness to troubleshoot issues directly.
• Ability to supervise or lead a maintenance team is highly regarded.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsabilités

• Support the Facilities Manager with day-to-day operation of the hotel’s facilities and maintenance.
• Be hands-on, regularly inspecting property and responding to maintenance issues.
• Supervise and support the maintenance team to ensure high standards.
• Assist with troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and general building maintenance issues.
• Carry out preventative maintenance programs and regular inspections.
• Coordinate and monitor contractors, ensuring safe and professional work.
