Job summary

Baulkham Hills Sports Club is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to oversee gaming, bar and operations, delivering consistent service excellence across the venue. You will lead frontline teams, drive compliance, manage cash handling and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for members and guests.

Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will mentor staff, coordinate functions and events, maintain RSA/RCG compliance, and help shape the club's future with a hands‑on, people‑focused leadership style.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Duty Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader in hospitality, clubs or gaming venues.
• Current RSA and RCG competency cards.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Experience managing compliance, cash handling and venue operations.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting teams across bar, gaming, functions and general operations.
• Delivering outstanding customer service and handling escalated customer concerns.
• Supervising staff performance, training and daily work allocation.
• Ensuring compliance with RSA, RCG and Club policies and procedures.
• Maintaining high standards of presentation, safety and venue operations.
• Managing cash handling, reconciliations and incident reporting.
• Assisting with stock control, security and venue maintenance requirements.
• Supporting functions and special events as required.
