Job summary

Baulkham Hills Sports Club is seeking a hands-on Duty Manager to run daily operations across gaming, bar and functions. You will lead frontline teams, ensure service standards, and drive operational excellence while maintaining compliance and safety for members and guests.

Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will mentor staff, manage rosters, cash handling and incident reporting, and support events. RSA/RCG cards and strong leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Duty Manager or supervisor in hospitality or clubs.
• RSA and RCG competency cards.
• Ability to lead and coach staff across operations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting teams across bar, gaming, functions and general operations
• Delivering outstanding customer service and handling escalated customer concerns
• Supervising staff performance, training and daily work allocation
• Ensuring compliance with RSA, RCG and Club policies and procedures
• Maintaining high standards of presentation, safety and venue operations
• Managing cash handling, reconciliations and incident reporting
• Assisting with stock control, security and venue maintenance requirements
• Supporting functions and special events as required
